Collection: Carolyn Wooddall

The magic of storytelling enchants Carolyn Wooddall. As a little girl who loved to read, her dream of becoming an author has now been realized with this debut picture book. Carolyn studied English and French in college, enriching her love of literature with studies abroad in England and Scotland. Her passion for travel led her to collect stories and books from around the world.

In 2023, she co-founded Hard Luck Animal Welfare Advocates with her husband, a nonprofit dedicated to providing medical care for animals at the Stockton Animal Shelter who are down on
their luck. Her passion for advocating for these animals led her to write this story to show how hope and hard work can lead to second chances at a lifetime of love. The proceeds of this book will go to Hard Luck and other animal shelters to help animals in need.

Carolyn resides in Sacramento with her husband, daughter, four rescue dogs, an ancient cockatiel, and a lively fish tank. When she is not writing, she spends her time knitting, crocheting, reading, and embarking on outdoor adventures, continually drawing inspiration from the world around her. Her life is a vibrant tapestry of creativity, advocacy, and exploration -- all woven into
the stories she shares.
